Today I finally arrived in Barcelona!!! After an eight hour flight to Frankfurt, a 2 hour flight to Barcelona and an hour of luggage hunting, I finally made it, luggage in hand to where I needed to be. I am living in a nice sized apartment with 2 room mates and my 22 year old RA. The apartmant has 4 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen. It is way bigger then I pictured (but I still got assigned the smallest room!! haha oh well!) My room is really small, but I dont really need a lot of room. I have a bed, a place for my clothes and a small desk for my computer so I am happy.
I have only met one of my 2 room mates, Allison. She has friends studying here also and we ventured to meet them on the Metro. We got on the wrong line and it took us more then 20 stops to get there when it should have taken us 4, but hey now we know where both lines go!!
Right now we are showering and then we are headed back to her friends, Julien and Robbie's apartment, who are going to make us dinner (!) but I think I am going to make it an early night.
I am a little homesick, I think part of that is the language barrier, so hopefully it will get better, but so far I am really happy and excited about being here.
I will post pictures of my apartment soon.

Adios!

getting there and settled is probably the worst part of going abroad. once you get settled, it gets so much easier.

see you soon!
