So finally, here are the pictures from Valencia.
On Friday, we got there and had lunch and then went on a tour of Valencia. Our first stop was a cathedral.

(above) this is what the Catholic Church considers the real Holy Grail

the Holy Grail, again
The following pictures are just cool things we saw when we were walking around Valencia.

Friday night we went out and didnt get home until 5 am!!! So Saturday was a LONG day. First we went to Aquarium

Hayley is Dutch, and there was a hole in this wall shooting out water, so I told her that she should put her finger in the hole like the little Dutch boy who put his finger in the dam!! (I thought it was pretty funny)

I found Dori from "Finding Nemo"!!!

my favorite animals from the whole day, the seahorses

this is giant beluga whale, you cant really tell in the picture!! but he kept staring at everyone!

a scuba diver cleaning the windows in the shark tank
After lunch we basked in the gorgeous 70 degree weather.

After that we went to the Science Muesum, which was really cool because it was hands on!

Us outside the science muesum

outside the "eye", this place looked like it was from out of the future, it was really cool

At the muesum, we got to climb a climbing wall (yea Steve, we are that hard core)

and learn about tennis (i took more pictures of the old school rackets for you mom)

and saw little chickies hatching!!

AND I got to be a pirate RIGHT when we got into the museum, I knew i was going to like it right away
Saturday night we went out to dinner and then went home. We were all way too tired to go out!!
Sunday we headed back to Barcelona and on the way back we stopped at Taragona and saw the Roman ruins

Hayley, me and Jessica at the top of some of the ruins

a really cool tree that I liked a lot

Romus and Remulus

And that, in a nut shell, missing about 60 pictures, was my weekend in Valencia! It was a great city and it was refreshing to be able to be "touristy".
Classes started yesterday and they are going well so far. So I am headed to bed soon for a good night sleep!
Adios!
