Its like Mardi Gras without the boobs, and Halloween without the kids.
Its wonderful.
Last weekend I ventured to Sitges, a town about 30 minutes from Barcelona to celebrate the nationwide holiday of Carnaval. Everyone dresses up and dances in the streets and there are marching bands and parades and TONS of transvestites. Its GREAT!!
Allison and I went together and met up with a few of our other friends, if you know me at all, I am sure you can guess what I dressed up as.....una pirata (pirate!).
