Paris

Sorry I took so long to post these pictures. I have midterms all week, and they are finally over. Just one paper and one test stand between me and Spring Break!

Paris started out slow, but got better as the weekend went on. We had a 4 hour delay for our flight and didnt get in to Paris until 5. We went out to dinner for crepes (because thats all you should eat when you go to Paris) and went out to some bars near out hostel.

Saturday we got up early and had a pretty full day. We started out by taking the train an hour outside of Paris and going to Versailles. It was one of the most extravagant places I have ever seen. It was gorgeous.

After Versailles, we can back to Paris and went to see the Louve, we didnt get inside, but the outside is pretty cool.

There is a huge park and at one end there is the Louve, and there is a fountain at the other end, and you can see the Eiffel Tower, and the Arc from this spot. We spent most of the afternoon wandering through this park, and we got to see famous models because it was fashion week (we didnt know who any of them were, but people were taking lots of pictures so we figured they were pretty famous!) I even got to ride a carousel in the park!

That night, after going back to the hostel and showering and getting ready, we went and saw the Eiffel Tower! It was all lit up and absolutely gorgeous! The whole time we were there all everyone kept saying was "Can you believe we are here? Did you ever think you would be standing under the Eiffel Tower?"

I must be one of the luckiest people ever.
